Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has announced the launch of its RushBet platform in Peru. This move aims to expand RSI’s footprint in Latin America, tapping into a market of over 30 million people.
This new launch in Peru represents a major step in RSI’s Latin American strategy, building on its existing operations in Colombia and Mexico. The expansion allows the company to optimise its Latin American operations by sharing resources across multiple countries – a move that hopes to boost operational efficiency and long-term growth in the region.
Commenting on the move, Richard Schwartz, RSI CEO, stated: “Expanding into Peru is a pivotal step in our mission to become a leading Online Gaming operator across the Americas.
“This move allows us to leverage our proven operational expertise in Latin America, particularly the brand equity and operational efficiencies we’ve built in the region over the past six years.
“Importantly, Peru shares key media markets with Colombia. Consequently, Peruvian sports fans are familiar with the RushBet brand through its presence on shared television networks including ESPN and DirectTV.”
The RushBet platform in Peru aims to offer a tailored experience for local preferences, including social elements like player-to-player chat and multiplayer tournaments.
It also features a selection of casino games, proprietary promotional tools and a sportsbook that covers major global sports as well as local leagues.
In related news, RSI struck up a partnership with White Hat Studios to launch BetRivers in Delaware earlier this year.
