Anthony Edwards Over 4.5 Assists (-111)
Minnesota has lost its grip on the top spot, having dropped two of its last three. Unfortunately, they’ve been dealing with injuries, including to Karl Anthony Towns, who will likely not return until the playoffs.
Tonight shouldn’t be a problem, as the Wolves face the Jazz, who have dropped 11 of their last 14. Utah’s biggest weakness is its defense, which is 29th in defensive rating. With a few key players out or questionable, I’m looking at Edwards to have a big game.
Edwards is Minnesota’s best scorer, leading the team in points per game. He’s also one of the best facilitators, with five assists per game. Utah is last in points allowed off assists, so you have to love Edwards’ total being lower than his season average.
Stephen Curry Over 24.5 Points (-115)
It doesn’t matter if they’re the top two teams in the league or fighting for the final two spots in the Play-In Tournament, the Warriors vs. Lakers is a marquee matchup. Regardless of where they are in the standings, they just want a shot at the dance because both can turn it on when it matters.
This has the makings of a high-scoring matchup. Curry has been especially prominent in both previous games, as he led the team with 32 points in the last matchup and previously went for 46, including the game-winning three-pointer in a double-overtime thriller. Looking at the best odds, it would be the point total.
Domantas Sabonis Over 33.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)
Is there anyone as consistent at the moment as Sabonis? He leads the league with 61 double-doubles, 23 triple-doubles, and 13.6 rebounds per game. He’s been on a fantastic run lately, averaging 21.4 points and 16.9 rebounds in his last seven.
The Kings face the Knicks, who are 6-9 over their last 15, with those wins being against a Joel Embiid-less 76ers, Pistons, Trail Blazers, and Cavaliers. There will be no Julius Randle, so either Precious Achiuwa will guard Sabonis, or they’ll switch over OG Anunoby, who just returned from injury. Either way, expect another big game from Sabonis.
