Both parties have put pen to paper on an agreement that will see the tribal outfit bring Kambi’s sportsbook platform to its Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort and Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel sites. While patrons will be able to place bets in-person at these properties, an online sportsbook will also be launched to enhance the operator’s digital offering.
Kristian Nylén, Kambi’s Chief Exec, commented: “A key part of Kambi’s strategy has been to partner with market leaders and local heroes, and Saginaw Chippewa Gaming Enterprises certainly fulfils that criteria.
“Through its popular Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort and Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel properties, Saginaw Chippewa Gaming Enterprises has established a formidable brand and a large customer database in Michigan.”
What’s more, the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe — the casino company’s owner, operator and namesake — will get access to Kambi’s technology, including its kiosk and ‘Bring Your Own Device’ tech, alongside the B2B provider’s ‘Bet Builder’ product.
“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Kambi Group,” remarked Melinda Coffin, Saginaw Chippewa Gaming Enterprises CEO.
“Our loyal guests and Soaring Eagle team have been anxiously looking forward to sports betting at our casinos. We look forward to working with Kambi Group and providing a great experience for our guests.”
With this latest deal, Kambi has once again demonstrated its commitment to US tribal operators, having partnered with Desert Diamond Casinos, an enterprise owned and operated by the Tohono O’odham Nation, on 1 November.
Nylén concluded: “At Kambi, we know what it takes to create a leading sportsbook product and we look forward to helping Saginaw Chippewa Gaming Enterprises deliver exciting sports betting experiences to its patrons.”
