GGPoker has confirmed a total of $250m in guaranteed prizes in its upcoming World Festival Tournament Series.
The online World Festival Tournament Series will start on 5 May and run until 11 June.
Players will have four tiers of buy-ins available for the different tournaments hosted throughout, from $2.50 up to $1050, excluding the buy-in.
Additionally, there will be a variety of satellite opportunities for players to win their way into bigger tournaments.
Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador, said: “Let the festivities begin on May 5 as we continue our tradition of revolutionising poker year-on-year!
“We made history in 2023, and now, with $50m in additional prize guarantees, the GGPoker World Festival is bigger and better than ever!”
The 2023 series totalled $200m in prize pool guarantees.
Aside from the $250m guaranteed, players will also get to compete for a share of $2.5m in the GGPoker leaderboard.
This will be split between the buy-in tiers mentioned previously, with $250,000 shared amongst the Low Tier leaderboard winners, $500,000 for the Medium Tier, $750,000 for the High Tier and $1m between the Super Tier leaderboard winners.
GGPoker will release the full schedule of the tournament closer to the time.
Until then, GGPoker players can prepare for the upcoming Spin & Gold ELO Challenge hosted on the platform.
Rather than poker, the operator is trying something a little different with a $50,000 chess challenge.
