Operator CopyBet has announced the entry of its sportsbook into the Irish market, as it launches in the country for the first time.
Two of Ireland’s most popular sports, Gaelic football and hurling, have been added to its sportsbook as part of the move, on top of the variety of other sports it covers.
This announcement comes after former Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given was introduced as CopyBet’s first-ever brand ambassador earlier this year, where he provides customers with weekly tips and opinions on the CopyBet website and social media channels.
Irish jockey Jonahan Burke was also recently announced as a brand ambassador for CopyBet, wearing the company logo on his racing kit and providing customers with insights into the world of jump racing.
Business Development Director, CopyBet, Anton Ivanov, said: “We’re delighted to announce our expansion into the Irish betting market as we look to grow the brand in Europe. CopyBet provides bettors with a unique platform to enhance their betting experience and with so many major sporting events taking place throughout 2024, it’s an exciting time to be taking CopyBet into Ireland.”
CopyBet brand ambassador, Shay Given, added: “I’m excited to be working with CopyBet as it enters the Irish market for the first time ahead of a blockbuster year of sport. Look out for my predictions on the CopyBet blog and social media channels.”
In mid-November, PA Betting Services (PABS) entered into a partnership with CopyBet, which marked CopyBet’s first entry into horseracing within its betting platform.
