Figo visited a number of teams within the Digitain office, as well as meeting with Founder Vardges Vardanyan once again.
Gambling Insider exclusively revealed the news to the world that Figo was partnering with Digitain in July, travelling to Nice for his unveiling, where Vardanyan was also present to discuss the partnership.
Figo spoke to us about industry-related topics, with the interview published in GI Friday, and football-related questions, which were featured in last month’s Trafficology magazine.
More recently, the ex-Real Madrid and Barcelona winger starred in a Netflix documentary detailing his controversial move from Barcelona to Madrid (which is now available to watch on the streaming platform).
Vardanyan, meanwhile, is to feature in our upcoming Sports Betting Focus magazine for an in-depth interview on the Digitain journey so far.
On his visit to Armenia, Figo said: “I’m excited to be part of this new partnership and I had a really enjoyable and extremely informative time visiting Digitain’s headquarters in Yerevan, and learning more about the culture of the company.
“Digitain is a long-established and forward-thinking iGaming company, dedicated to offering a broad variety of successful iGaming solutions to partners all over the world. Becoming their Brand Ambassador was an easy decision for me.”
Digitain Founder Vardanyan added: “It was my pleasure to welcome Luís to Yerevan and to Digitain’s headquarters. I am extremely happy that we have a partnership with someone of his international stature and reputation, who shares our progressive values and who can represent the Digitain brand with such assurance.”
