Sports betting and iGaming platform BK8 has agreed to a deal with the Badminton World Federation (BWF) to become the official sponsor of the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2024, which are set to take place in December in Hangzhou.
The BWF World Tour is a badminton tournament that is open to top-ranked players in singles for men’s and women’s, as well as doubles for men’s, women’s and mixed.
Once the BWF World Tour circuit comes to an end, the top eight players/pairs in the BWF World Tour of each discipline are required to play in a final tournament which is known as the BWF World Tour Finals.
This sponsorship agreement between the BWF and BK8 extends to three badminton tournaments within the HSBC BWF World Tour 2024, namely the TOYTA Thailand Open 2024 (14 to 19 May 2024), the Hong Kong Open 2024 (10 to 15 September 2024) and the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2024 (11 to 15 December 2024).
With this deal, BK8 is aiming to contribute to the success of these tournaments, while trying to create greater engagement among badminton fans worldwide.
