Operator Betway has been confirmed as the official betting partner of the National Bank Open, hosted in Toronto.

Running from 5 August to 13 August, the ATP Masters 1000 will be played out at the Sobeys Stadium, with the final being hosted at the Centre Court.

The multi-year deal will include Betway marketing materials presented courtside, on the back wall of the Sobeys Stadium for the full eight days of the tournament.

Carlos Alcaraz, World Number 1 and recent Wimbledon Champion, will make his debut in Toronto on Wednesday, 9 August.

Anthony Werkman, Betway Group CEO, said: “Adding to our enviable portfolio of tennis sponsorships globally, we’re delighted to welcome the National Bank Open to the Betway family.

“This competition is steeped in history and is a firm-favourite for tennis fans, so we’re obviously very excited to be a partner as we continue to be known as the number one betting brand within tennis.”

Alongside the Toronto Open, Betway also has deals with other stages of the ATP Tour, including the Hamburg European Open, Rio Open and Miami Open.

Rob Swann, Tennis Canada CCO, said: “We are delighted to partner with Betway and welcome them to our incredible group of corporate partners.

“We look forward to working closely with them as part of this multi-year agreement as we deliver an exceptional event for our fans.”

Betway was also one of the companies to invest in the Canadian athlete education programme announced earlier this year, alongside IBIA, bet365 and FanDuel.
