The company’s new core markets will now see its players able to bet on ‘pre-match and in-play markets for a team to win, a team to win and by how much, and over/under on total points’ betting – all in time for March Madness.
Joey Levy, Founder and CEO of Betr, said of the expansion: “We deliberately launched with only microbetting to one: launch as soon as possible, enabling us to learn from and iterate our product experience according to real user data and feedback.
“And two: establish ourselves as the company, product and brand synonymous not just with instant gratification betting, which we believe will be the future of this industry.
“Now that we have done this successfully, we are putting Betr on a path to establishing betting market coverage product parity with incumbent operators, which will include the gradual and methodical integrations and launches of core markets, parlays, props and many of the other betting experiences consumers can find elsewhere.”
Betr launched in Ohio at the beginning of 2023, with a move into the newly open Massachusetts market coming very soon, where it will make its real-money betting app available for iOS and Android users.
Betr will also offer customers its ‘Beat Derek’s Bracket’ challenge during March Madness in the US. The promotion will see bettors go up against Derek Sullivan, who has gained notoriety in the betting community for his abysmal betting record – with the victor winning a $1,000 prize.
