The archive was previously limited to races broadcast on RPGTV, which currently shows 20 meetings per week, but now work to upgrade the site has been completed. The completed upgrade means the archive is now live with the full SIS inventory from the last three months, and it will be updated on a constant basis.
Conleth Byrne, Product Director at SIS, said: “We are delighted that Racing Post Greyhound Bet is launching an archive of SIS races on its website. The opportunity to watch these races back is fantastic news for racetracks, trainers, owners and all those involved within the sport.”
With more than 30 years of experience in the creation and distribution of betting events for greyhound racing, Byrne emphasises the importance of SIS in the production process of “some fantastic races” over the years across the UK.
Racing Post’s Jim Austin, creator of Greyhound Bet, added: “It’s refreshing to be able to deliver some good news to the greyhound fraternity and we hope this enhanced archive service will be welcomed across the board.
“Wearing my punter’s hat, while the current service we have is invaluable, it can be frustrating when you can only research five of the greyhound’s last few runs in a race, you nail the ‘winner’ of the quintet, but the other one wins the race. Now, there can be no excuses!”
