The Connecticut Lottery (CLC) has opened the Fanatics Betting and Gaming Sportsbook in the state on Monday 25 March.
The property will mark the 10th sportsbook in total live in the state, with others including the DraftKings Sportsbook at Foxwoods Resort and Casino and the FanDuel Sportsbook at Mohegan Sun Casino.
Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the exclusive sports betting partner for mobile and retail betting of the CLC, which is a quasi-public state agency in Connecticut.
This partnership was signed at the start of December, after the announcement of a wind-down of the partnership between the CLC and Rush Street Interactive who previously provided services for the organisation.
On Monday 25 March, customers will be able to enter the newly opened Fanatics Sportsbook located at the Total Mortgage Arena.
The property spans over 2,300sq ft and has both staffed betting windows and self-service betting kiosks.
Customers will be able to access a range of betting markets, including those for professional and college football, basketball, hockey, baseball, tennis, soccer, golf, MMA and boxing.
Alongside this launch, Fanatics Betting and Gaming invested in several upgrades to the other retail sportsbook locations in Connecticut.
These included new betting kiosks, enhanced odds screens and updated signs outside.
The other Fanatics Sportsbooks can be located in Hartford, Stamford, Windsor Locks, New Haven, Hartford, Manchester, Milford, New Britain and Waterbury.
Players who create a mobile account and sign up for a free Fanatics Player Card at a retail counter can earn additional FanCash, the currency that can be redeemed for bonus bets or team merchandise.
Connecticut isn’t the only state which is receiving attention from the operator though, as Fanatics also just launched its sportsbook in New York.
