The sportsbook will become Philadelphia’s second retail sports betting operation and will be powered by Kambi, which signed a multi-year agreement with Parx Casino owner Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment in November.
Kambi also supplies Philadelphia’s other sportsbook at SugarHouse Casino in Fishtown.
Sports betting at Parx Casino is planned to open to the public at 2pm on Tuesday, with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board closely monitoring operations at the venue for two days thereafter.
The sportsbook in Bensalem will open with seven teller windows and 26 self-service kiosks.
“I cannot believe we are going to start taking bets,” Matthew Cullen, Parx Casino Senior Vice President of Interactive Gaming and Sports, is quoted as saying by the Philadelpha Inquirer.
