Bettors over the age of 21 will have access to sports wagering in the Bayou State across professional, collegiate and other sports leagues, at the DraftKings Sportsbook located inside Golden Nugget Casino Lake Charles.
The new location, which is inside a portion of the Blue Martini bar, features six ticket cages and a total of 30 self-service kiosks; plans are underway for a permanent location with seating for nearly 300 customers, odds boards and big-screen displays.
The permanent 10,000 square-foot location is expected to open in the summer of 2022. DraftKings is also planning to launch its online sportsbook in Louisiana at a later date, pending licence and regulatory approvals.
