FanDuel to debut Super Bowl party live stream

AmericanFootball

Its inaugural “Watch & Win” event is scheduled to debut the night before this year’s Big Game, and will feature various sports personalities, as well as other well-known faces.

Pat McAfee and FanDuel’s own Lisa Kerney will host the live stream from Magic Box in downtown Los Angeles, and will be joined by a line-up of celebrity guests throughout the evening.

These include Joe Montana, Anthony Anderson, Michael Irvin, Steve Smith Sr, Emmitt Smith, Ed Reed, Brian Urlacher and Terrell Owens, as well as rappers Wiz Khalifa and Ludacris, who will perform live.

And FanDuel is going to put these guests to work as they square off in a series of “tailgate-style games”, including axe throwing, mini-golf and darts, among others.

Viewers aged 21 or over will be allowed to play along by predicting which guests will triumph via FanDuel’s apps — FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel Fantasy — with a chance to win a share of $200,000 in prizes.

“FanDuel’s inaugural event as an official sportsbook partner of the NFL will allow sports fans to predict the winners of fun challenges that match former NFL greats and celebrities against each other in tailgate-style games,” remarked the company in a statement.

“Imagine Emmitt Smith competing against Joe Montana in cornhole or watching Brian Urlacher take on Terrell Davis in a game of beer pong.”

The live stream will be accessible on McAfee’s YouTube channel. FanDuel also reminded people that anyone attending in-person must be 21 or older and show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test result within 48 hours of attending.
