awarded kansas sportsradarListen To Article

Sportradar Group has been awarded a full Sports Gaming Supplier Certificate to provide sports betting services through its subsidiary, Sportradar Solutions LLC, in the state of Kansas.

The Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission had initially granted the sports betting company a temporary certification in September 2022.

Across North America and Canada, Sportradar now holds 46 different licences to operate across states, territories and tribes.

Companies based in Kansas will now be able to receive a range of services offered by Sportradar.

These will include its integrity services, such as bet monitoring and detection, intelligence and investigation, education and prevention, and finally integrity audits.

Sportradar also offers sports solutions, both Synergy Sports and InteractSport, as well as digital products, betting and gaming platforms and advertising services.

The state of Kansas is still relatively new when it comes to sports betting, with the legislation for it only passing on 1 July, 2022.

A soft launch of sports betting went live on 1 September, 2022, with each online platform allowed up to three online skins and 50 retailer partnerships.

There are currently six online sportsbooks operating in Kansas, those being DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, PointsBet and Barstool.

However, this list may change in the wake of PointsBet announcing its departure from the US sports betting market.

At the start of June, The Prairie Band Casino also announced that it would be planning to launch its own sports betting platform this autumn.

Sportradar also held a webinar last week, which discussed the importance of paid social.
