PandaScore secures Colorado betting licence

PandaScore has obtained a licence to operate in Colorado, marking the company’s first entry into the North American market.

This move allows PandaScore to support its existing clients in expanding their esports offerings in the state and positions the company to attract new partners.

PandaScore selected Colorado as its initial entry point due to the state’s comprehensive esports regulatory framework, which includes a wide range of eligible esports titles and competitions for regular betting.

The state’s flexible licensing regime reportedly supports PandaScore’s goal of leveraging its products such as BetBuilder, player props and microbetting.

Alexis Brunet, PandaScore’s Legal Counsel, said: “Esports in the United States is a fast-evolving regulatory environment, but it’s only going in one direction: expansion. We intend to provide our products and services to our customers no matter where they are and service one of the largest markets in the world.”

PandaScore’s CEO, Flavien Guillocheau, added: “We’ve proven we know the market, can get a license efficiently and do it in a way that puts operators first.”

This development follows PandaScore’s agreement with Smarkets, a betting exchange that integrated PandaScore’s odds feed to enhance its esports offerings.

The feed covers a wide array of pre-match markets across events like League of Legends and Counter-Strike and includes player markets, bet builder and microbetting products.
