The UK branch of BetMGM has announced TV presenter Laura Woods as its new brand ambassador.
Woods brings experience as a presenter within the sporting industry, having held roles at the likes of Sky Sports, ITV Sport, TNT Sports and Amazon Prime Video, covering a range of sports including football, darts and boxing, among others.
With BetMGM, Woods will provide her thoughts on key sporting stories through a weekly blog, and will also create video and social content on a regular basis. Woods will feature in BetMGM advertising campaigns across various channels.
This marks another big name for the operator’s UK branch, whose launch campaign was fronted by the US comedian Chris Rock back in September.
BetMGM UK Director Sam Behar said: “Laura is the ideal fit for the BetMGM brand as we grow our ambassador network.
“Her broadcasting career to date has been hugely impressive, entertaining and informing sports fans across the UK week in week out and we’re excited for Laura to share her wealth of knowledge and expertise with our customers.”
Woods herself added: “I’m delighted to be joining BetMGM as the brand’s newest ambassador, particularly ahead of a huge couple of months in the sporting calendar with the Euros starting in just two days’ time, the Olympics weeks away and, of course, the new Premier League season just around the corner.
“BetMGM has a strong ethos around responsible gambling – something I’m really passionate about. It’s a really exciting partnership and I can’t wait to get started!”
In similar industry news, CopyBet last week announced an extension to its brand ambassador deal with former Ireland international goalkeeper Shay Given.
